Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Pacific Northwest Missing Persons Project (PNWMPP). Please complete the form below. Our Directors and Board review each application thoroughly and will reach out if further details are required.

If selected, you will be invited to an interview/orientation and asked to complete onboarding paperwork.

Important Disclosure

Volunteers represent PNWMPP in sensitive situations. Online conduct reflecting confidentiality breaches, harassment, or behavior that could impact families or investigations may disqualify applicants.

How We Use and Store Volunteer Application Information

PNWMPP collects volunteer application information strictly for screening and onboarding purposes. Information is retained only as long as operationally required.

Applicants who are not selected will have their records permanently deleted within 1–2 weeks of the final decision.

For accepted volunteers, emergency contact and onboarding records are maintained in secure internal files for operational safety and administrative use.

PNWMPP does not sell or share personal information with third parties.

PNWMPP reviews publicly available online content as part of our volunteer screening process. This review helps ensure professionalism, confidentiality awareness, and alignment with our mission.

We do not request passwords or access to private accounts. Screening is limited to publicly available content and focuses on behavior related to safety, confidentiality, harassment, or conduct that could affect families or investigations.
